PACS is seeking an Activity Assistant to support the Activity Director in delivering a creative, interactive program that meets residents' needs. You will help plan activities for individuals and groups, coordinate with staff, families, and community partners, and maintain calendars and records.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Preferable one-year experience in a long term care facility.
• Ability to read and comprehend policy and procedure manuals.

Responsibilities

• Plan and conduct activities for individuals, small groups, and large groups.
• Assist communication between staff, residents, families, and the public to meet residents' needs.
• Develop monthly activity calendars and maintain attendance records.
• Assist in discharge planning and activity care plans.
• Arrange transportation for residents for outings or appointments.
• Keep the Activity Department clean, orderly, and secure.
