You will act as the primary CRE relationship owner, identifying opportunities, coordinating across bank teams, and structuring credit terms to meet client needs.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years commercial banking experience with strong credit judgment and business development discipline.
• Expertise in CRE lending including construction, bridge, and permanent financing; evaluate feasibility, capacity, collateral, pricing.
• Proven ability to generate new client relationships, expand existing ones, and cross-sell deposits, treasury, and other solutions.
• Strong portfolio management capabilities: loan grading, covenant monitoring, risk identification.

Responsibilities

• Develop, manage, and grow a CRE portfolio focused on construction, bridge, and permanent loans with a plan for growth and profitability.
• Serve as the primary relationship owner for CRE clients, delivering trusted financial guidance and coordinating solutions.
• Generate new prospects and convert clients through targeted outreach, networking, and referrals.
• Expand profitability by cross-selling Univest solutions in partnership with internal lines.
• Understand each customer’s business to structure credit solutions and repayment strategies.
• Structure, negotiate, and present credit terms, including interest rate and collateral requirements.
• Prepare analysis, deal screens, and term sheets; submit loan requests for underwriting and approval.
