Qualifications

• 3-5 years commercial banking experience with strong credit judgment.
• CRE lending expertise: construction, bridge, permanent financing and feasibility evaluation.
• Track record of growing client relationships and cross-selling bank solutions.
• Portfolio management: loan grading, covenant monitoring, risk identification.
• Bachelor’s degree required; CRE financial analysis training preferred.
• Strong communication, executive presence, and cross-functional collaboration.
• Proficient with Salesforce, ncino, and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Develop, manage, and grow a CRE portfolio focused on construction, bridge, and permanent loans.
• Serve as the primary relationship owner for CRE clients, coordinating solutions bank-wide.
• Generate new prospects through calling, referrals, and community involvement.
• Expand profitability by cross-selling deposits, treasury management, and Univest solutions.
• Assess customer business models and credit needs to structure appropriate lending.
• Structure and negotiate terms within policy, including pricing and collateral.
• Prepare analyses, deal screens, and term sheets; submit loan requests for underwriting.
