Job summary
Truist is seeking a Mortgage Banking Producer to originate commercial real estate debt, build new client relationships, and expand partnerships. You will source financing across agency, life company, CMBS, bank, and other capital sources, managing transactions from engagement through closing.
Ideal candidates have CRE lending experience, strong financial analysis, and established industry relationships, with a willingness to travel for nationwide sourcing and deals.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business or equivalent ed and training.
- 5+ years in CRE lending, mortgage banking, brokerage or capital markets.
- Strong financial analysis and underwriting knowledge.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to travel.
Responsibilities
- Originate commercial real estate debt opportunities and develop client relationships nationwide.
- Source financing across agency, life company, CMBS, bank, and other capital sources.
- Work with Underwriting teams to review mortgage applications and documentation.
- Structure multifamily by providing debt and equity financing solutions.
- Negotiate mortgage loan terms with borrowers.
- Lead loan transactions from identification through closing and servicing.
- Develop and maintain relationships with multifamily owners and developers.
