Job summary

Regions Bank in Hoover, Alabama is seeking a Credit Products Corporate Loan Fulfillment Specialist to manage the closing process for commercial loans across multi-state deals. You will gather and review documents, coordinate with deal teams, and ensure all closing steps align with policy and approvals.

The role requires six years in financial services, deep knowledge of loan documentation, and the ability to work with multiple stakeholders including outside counsel and vendors.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; bachelor's degree preferred.
• Minimum six years of related financial services experience.
• Strong knowledge of insurance requirements for real estate transactions.
• Experience with syndicated transactions and collaboration with Capital Markets.

Responsibilities

• Drafts and reviews loan documentation for high complexity commercial loans in a multi-state environment.
• Engages with the deal team on forecasting loan pipeline activity and provides due diligence requirements as loans are assigned.
• Reviews attorney-prepared loan packages for syndicated loans, often with Regions serving as the agent bank.
• Understands risks associated with closing various types of commercial loans.
• Obtains necessary documents to evidence the debt and secure the loan.
• Ensures the loan is closed per loan approval and that documentation conforms to approval and policy.
• Identifies issues related to documentation, policy or regulatory requirements and remediates before closing.
• Communicates with business partners throughout the closing process.
• Contributes to plans to mitigate risks and resolve client service issues related to commercial credit.
• Supports training of team members in loan documentation and compliance.
