Job summary

Goldman Sachs Private Bank seeks a Commercial Real Estate Lending Advisor, Vice President, to drive CRE loan origination and structured credit solutions for UHNW clients. You will partner with Private Wealth Advisors to source, structure, and execute complex transactions, and lead credit decisions across a regional lending portfolio.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of lending origination experience with CRE financing and complex credit solutions.
• Deep expertise in CRE lending across stabilized, transitional, and portfolio assets.
• Ability to originate, structure, and execute sophisticated lending transactions.
• Excellent analytical skills and sound credit judgment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; translate complex financial concepts clearly.
• Highly collaborative across coverage, underwriting, risk, and operations teams.
• Series 7, 63 and SIE required or must be obtained within 4 months of joining.
• Client-facing and relationship-building with PWAs and UHNW clients.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain strong relationships with PWAs to drive regional lending activity.
• Participate in prospect meetings to assess borrowing needs and originate opportunities.
• Advise clients on tailored lending strategies across asset classes, including CRE financing and securities-based lending.
• Source and originate CRE transactions and lead end-to-end deal execution.
• Structure tailored CRE and asset-backed lending solutions aligned to client objectives.
• Prescreen opportunities and develop thoughtful proposals; coordinate with U.S. Underwriting.
• Monitor lending exposures and ensure adherence to credit policies and regulatory requirements.
