Goldman Sachs is seeking a Vice President Lead Underwriter for the Commercial Real Estate Financing Group. The role centers on managing complex CRE debt transactions, leading and mentoring a team of underwriting professionals, and driving credit decisions through closing.

You will engage with sponsors and brokers, perform cash flow and risk analyses, and present recommendations to credit committees. Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration are essential.

Formación

• 8+ years of CRE underwriting and structuring experience including CMBS or balance sheet lending.
• Experience leading deals with sponsors/brokers and mentoring junior staff.
• Strong writing and presentation skills for credit committees.

Responsabilidades

• Lead underwriting and manage transactions across CRE property types from origination to closing.
• Lead credit analysis and investment rationale including cash flow, sponsor, and valuation.
• Negotiate terms with sponsors/brokers and prepare credit memoranda.
• Mentor and develop Associates and Analysts; coordinate with cross-functional teams to close deals.
