Job summary

Goldman Sachs Private Bank seeks a Commercial Real Estate Lending Advisor, Vice President, to drive loan origination growth for UHNW clients with a focus on CRE and structured credit solutions. You will partner with Private Wealth Advisors and underwriting to source, structure, and execute complex lending transactions.

This role serves as a credit thought partner and lead execution owner within the Private Bank's lending platform, collaborating across risk, underwriting, and operations teams.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of lending origination experience, with CRE financing and complex credit solutions.
• Deep expertise in commercial real estate lending, including stabilized, transitional, and portfolio-backed assets.
• Ability to originate, structure, and execute sophisticated lending transactions.
• Excellent analytical and written/verbal communication skills.
• Series 7, 63 and SIE required or must be obtained within 4 months of joining.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain strong, trust-based relationships with PWAs to drive regional lending activity.
• Originate and structure new CRE lending opportunities and coordinate with underwriting teams.
• Lead end-to-end deal execution, including screening, structuring, pricing, and approvals.
• Structure tailored CRE and asset-backed lending solutions that align client objectives with risk and return.
• Prescreen opportunities and develop thoughtful, well-structured proposals.
• Monitor lending exposures and ensure adherence to credit policies and regulatory requirements.
