Job summary

Goldman Sachs in Atlanta is seeking a Commercial Real Estate Lending Advisor, Vice President, to drive loan origination growth for UHNW clients within the Private Bank. You will source, structure, and execute sophisticated CRE and structured credit transactions, partnering with Private Wealth Advisors and underwriting teams.

In this client-facing role, you will lead end-to-end deal execution, monitor credit risk, and ensure compliance with credit policies, KYC/AML, and regulatory requirements,

Qualifications

• 8+ years in lending origination with CRE expertise.
• Experience structuring loans across stabilized, transitional, and portfolio assets.
• Ability to originate, structure and execute complex lending transactions.
• Strong analytical skills and sound credit judgment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Collaborative across coverage, underwriting, risk, and operations.
• Series 7, 63 and SIE required or to be obtained within 4 months.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain relationships with PWAs to drive regional lending.
• Meet with prospects and clients to assess borrowing needs and originate opportunities.
• Advise on lending strategies across asset classes including CRE and securities-based lending.
• Source and originate CRE opportunities and lead end-to-end deal execution.
• Coordinate with U.S. Underwriting on credit memos and approvals.
• Monitor lending exposures and mitigate risk.
• Navigate stressed positions and ensure adherence to policies and KYC/AML.
