Job summary

Truist is seeking a Commercial Real Estate (CRE) Sales Support Specialist in Norfolk, VA to provide sales, service and loan support to bankers and CRE teams.

Under limited supervision, you will help with pipeline, onboarding, reports, and client communications, ensuring CRM accuracy and timely service. This role requires English fluency and a background in financial services; base salary ranges with experience described in the posting.

Qualifications

• High School diploma, or equivalent education and related training.
• Five years of related experience, preferably within financial services.
• Two years of experience in a CCS role, or similar.
• Ability to identify, analyze and resolve issues independently.
• Advanced knowledge of related systems and processes.
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Good organizational skills.
• Ability to complete CCS training curriculum.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Sales Support: assist bankers with pipeline accuracy, call prep, onboarding deposits, and CRM data updates.
• Identify referral opportunities and coordinate with IRM partners to grow the portfolio.
• Pull reports, attend meetings, and communicate clearly within the team.
• Service Support: deliver superior client service to CRE clients and handle servicing tasks.
• Loan Support: assist with loan processes, collect client data, and ensure compliance.
• Portfolio management assistance: ensure correct client assignment and data accuracy.
• Fraud resolution, wire processing, and general research as needed.
