Qualifications

• Education: Associate or Bachelor degree in vocational evaluation, special education, behavioral psychology, or related field required.
• Certifications: Active Certified Rehabilitation Counselor (CRC).
• Master’s level and/or advanced study strongly preferred or as required by state law.
• Experience: Prior workers’ compensation related experience preferred; travel to in‑person appointments required.

Responsibilities

• Provide counseling and expertise to individuals with employment-related challenges and assess readiness for employment.
• Conduct comprehensive vocational assessments to determine suitable programs and job options.
• Review medical information to formulate vocational goals in collaboration with care team.
• Advocate for medical assessments and coordinate job modifications based on functional limits.
• Research training programs and coordinate/monitor participation for reentry to work.
• Facilitate return-to-work through job search skills and employer liaison.
