Job summary

Genex Service LLC in Charlotte, NC is seeking a Medical Field Case Manager. This full‑time hybrid role requires in‑person appointments within the Charlotte area and offers a comprehensive benefits package and a base salary of $70,000–$75,000 per year, with a productivity bonus potential.

You will work closely with treating physicians, employers, and patients to create and implement effective treatment plans, ensuring cost‑effective healthcare and timely return‑to‑work outcomes.

Qualifications

• Associates or Bachelor’s in Nursing or related field required.
• 2+ years of clinical practice preferred; workers’ compensation experience preferred.
• Strong advocacy with physicians, employers, and customers; independent work capability.
• Proficiency in basic computer skills: Excel, Word, Outlook; strong grammar and writing skills.
• Active RN license in good standing; URAC-recognized case management certification options (CCM, CDMS, CRC, etc.).
• Travel to in-person appointments within assigned geography; reliable transportation and internet.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate knowledge of case management standards of practice.
• Advise on treatment plans considering injuries, meds, comorbidities, and job duties.
• Interview patients to assess recovery and occupational relevance.
• Collaborate with physicians and resources to tailor treatment plans.
• Modify job duties with employers to facilitate early return to work.
• Manage workload, prioritize cases, and prepare status updates for customers.
