MGX Equipment Services in Houston, TX is seeking an experienced Crane Technician to inspect, diagnose, repair, and test cranes. You will read schematics, interpret manuals, and ensure work meets OEM specs while delivering excellent customer service.

This full-time role requires experience with mobile cranes, strong diagnosis skills, good communication, and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Competitive benefits apply.

Competenze

• High School Diploma or GED with a minimum of two (2) years of experience as a Mechanic/Technician.
• Experience with mobile crane equipment: Grove RT & TMS Cranes, Grove GMK European Cranes, Manitowoc EPIC/Traditional Cranes, National Boom Trucks.
• Must be able to read electrical and hydraulic schematics.
• Must have excellent communication skills with a customer focus.
• Possession of a valid driver’s license preferred.
• Basic computer skills preferred.
• Required to purchase full set of hand tools up to 1.5 inches.

Mansioni

• Operate and perform thorough inspection of cranes to diagnose defects.
• Diagnose, repair and troubleshoot hydraulic and lattice cranes; repair hydraulic and electrical components.
• Read and interpret operating/parts manuals, blueprints and drawings.
• Test mechanical, electronic, electrical and hydraulic products after repair to ensure OEM specs.
• Prepare jobs by checking parts and drawings for accuracy.
• Perform thorough annual inspections.
