Job summary

MAZZELLA is seeking a Service Manager to oversee the crane service branch, drive budgets, scheduling, and field productivity while maintaining high service standards. The role includes supervising staff, growing the crane inspection contract base, and supporting sales initiatives to ensure profitability.

The ideal candidate has strong strategic management and communication skills, plus knowledge of OSHA safety guidelines and cost controls.

Qualifications

• 4 years experience in administrative, customer service or technical environment.
• Expert knowledge of the crane service industry.
• Ability to plan and delegate, and to devise strategic planning.
• Must pass criminal background check, physical, drug screen, and E-verify.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee service branch operations to meet sales and budget objectives.
• Optimize field productivity, scheduling and billings while controlling costs.
• Develop crane service budgets and grow inspection contracts.
• Supervise department personnel and ensure safety compliance (OSHA).
• Review quotes with Service Coordinator and assist sales initiatives.
• Monitor utilization, payroll time, and perform performance reviews.
• Maintain vehicles, equipment, and branch housekeeping.
• Provide training and support to employees as required.
