Job summary

Mazzella is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Service Writer to manage the crane repair quote, follow-up, and order cycle. This role oversees the entire process, including quote creation, quotation delivery, processing of quotations and sales documentation, and order placement necessary to execute repair jobs.

The position requires coordinating with technicians, Service Supervisor, Service Manager, vendors and customers, maintaining the Active Quotes Log, and assisting with parts

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• 2 years in a sales or service role or equivalent experience preferred.
• Willingness to stay educated in crane industry; proficiency with computers and software is expected.

Responsibilities

• Create crane repair quotes using inspection reports and safety documentation.
• Interact with technicians, supervisors, vendors and customers to build accurate quotes.
• Send out finished quotes and track progress of active quotes.
• Archive repair quotes and support service staff with parts and scheduling.
