Maxim Crane Works is seeking a Sales Trainee to join a structured development program that delivers knowledge, field experience, mentorship, and customer engagement. You will support crane rental solutions and contribute to proposals, with exposure to sales cycles and territory management.

The role emphasizes learning, mentorship, and progression toward a Sales Representative position, with travel to local customer sites and industry environments as part of the development track.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred in Business, Marketing, Construction Management, Engineering, Finance, Communications, or related field.
• Equivalent education and relevant experience may be considered.
• Recent graduates encouraged to apply.
• Prior crane industry experience is not required.

Responsibilities

• Participate in a structured training program to develop technical, operational, and sales knowledge.
• Accompany Sales Representatives on customer visits, job sites, and business development activities.
• Learn Maxim Crane Works' fleet, equipment capabilities, and service offerings.
• Develop understanding of customer industries, project requirements, and market opportunities.
• Assist with customer relationship management and account development activities.
• Support proposals, quotations, presentations, and customer communications.
• Learn crane selection principles, lift planning fundamentals, and project coordination processes.
• Collaborate with operations, dispatch, engineering, branch management, and leadership to support customer needs.
