Job summary

Sterling Crane LLC is seeking a Crane & Rigging Supervisor in Billings, MT. The role oversees safe crane operations, inspections, and documentation at a busy heavy lift site. You will work with rough terrain, carry decks, crawlers, and mobile cranes, requiring a Class A CDL and NCCCO certification.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years experience working with rough terrain cranes, carry decks, crawlers and mobile cranes.
• Class A CDL.
• Successfully pass post offer drug and physical screens and have a background that meets company requirements.
• Dependable and reliable with flexibility to work overtime, when necessary.
• Maintain a current NCCCO Crane Operators License for qualified equipment.
• Ability to read and understand technical drawings, materials or instructions.
• Good verbal and written communication skills to understand instructions, applicable safety regulations, and to maintain records.
• Must have strong ability work well within a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Efficiently and safely operate a variety of cranes in accordance with procedures and guidelines.
• Inspect ground conditions and overhead obstructions.
• Maintain equipment through daily inspections and routine maintenance.
• Maintain logs and records of operations.
• Communicate with ground operators per site safety regulations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
