Job summary

Sterling Crane LLC, part of Marmon Holdings, is hiring a CDL Crane Rigger at our Billings, MT branch. You will assist the crane operator in preparing heavy materials and building mobile cranes, while following safety standards and procedures.

Requirements include a high school diploma, CDL preferred, NCCER/NCCCO preferred, and 3+ years of rigging experience. Ability to work overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• CDL preferred.
• NCCER or NCCCO crane rigger certification preferred.
• 3+ years experience as a rigger.
• Knowledge of OSHA safety standards and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Ensure rigging meets safety requirements and Sterling Crane standards during precheck.
• Haul materials and equipment between job sites.
• Signal crane operator during lifts for placement instructions.
• Guide and position loads at elevated heights.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
