Job summary

Commercial Metals Company in Sayreville, NJ seeks a versatile operator to support production. You will operate a forklift and overhead crane, complete shift-end inspection reports, and communicate production issues while maintaining a clean, safe work area.

The role requires following start-up/shutdown procedures, participating in safety programs, and working rotating shifts with potential overtime. A high school diploma or GED is preferred, with ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Operate a forklift and overhead crane as required.

• Troubleshoot basic issues using job knowledge and teamwork.
• Understand start up, shutdown, and emergency procedures.
• Participate in CMC Safety Programs and uphold safety culture.

What You'll Do

• Ability to operate a forklift and overhead crane required
• Ensure equipment inspection reports are filled out each shift
