Job summary

Commercial Metals Company seeks a hardworking team member to operate production equipment and maintain a clean, safe work area in a fast-paced environment. You will follow established procedures, contribute to safety programs, and perform other tasks as assigned.

A background in recycling or manufacturing helps, and basic lifting capabilities are required. We value teamwork, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask across multiple pieces of equipment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience preferred.
• Minimum 1 year experience in either recycling and/or manufacturing environment preferred.
• Prior knowledge of metal identification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintains work area and equipment in a clean orderly condition and follows safety regulations.
• Operates production equipment in accordance with established procedures and guidelines.
• Participates in the CMC Safety Programs and proactively upholds the CMC Safety Culture.
• Performs additional tasks as assigned by supervisor.

What You'll Do

What You'll Need

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Ability to work in all weather conditions
• Able to work as a team player in a fast-paced environment, with strong multitasking abilities, attention to detail, and organizational skills
• Minimum 1 year experience in either recycling and/or manufacturing environment preferred
• Previous experience operating forklift, skid steer, loader or similar equipment
• Prior knowledge of metal identification is a plus
