Job summary

Performance Contracting Group is seeking a driven Trade Coordinator to help develop the next generation of field leaders. You will partner with operations, supervision, and safety professionals to build training programs, coordinate workforce planning, and ensure safe, efficient project execution.

You will mentor teams, improve field processes, and help maintain high-quality standards across commercial, industrial, and non-residential projects.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience leading crews on commercial, industrial, or construction projects.
• Proven experience supervising and mentoring craft personnel.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and project schedules.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop training and development programs for craft employees.
• Build individualized development plans based on classifications, certifications, and career goals.
• Identify training gaps and coordinate classroom, field, and hands-on training opportunities.
• Accelerate apprentice development by building competencies earlier in their careers.
• Track employee certifications, qualifications, and development progress.
• Identify and develop future Foremen, Leads, and Superintendents.
• Coordinate labor requests, workforce allocations, and staffing plans with field leadership.
• Support manpower forecasting and workforce development initiatives.
• Promote and participate in safety initiatives and training.
