Job description

The Project & Safety Coordinator role helps bridge the gap between field operations, project coordination, and company safety initiatives. This position combines hands‑on field understanding with organization, communication, and operational support to help keep projects running safely, efficiently, and aligned across both the field and office.

This role requires prior trade experience and regular interaction with active jobsites, field crews, leadership, customers, and project teams. The Project & Safety Coordinator works closely with the Field Operations Director and Director of Business Operations to support communication, project execution, safety compliance, training coordination, and overall operational follow-through.

Core Responsibilities
  • Visit active jobsites regularly to observe progress, identify needs, and communicate updates back to leadership.
  • Help bridge communication between field crews, office operations, project leadership, and customers.
  • Support project scheduling, coordination, documentation, and day‑to‑day operational follow‑through.
  • Track job progress, materials, manpower needs, project updates, and outstanding action items.
  • Help identify issues proactively before they impact workflow, scheduling, or project execution.
  • Assist with jobsite organization, project closeout items, documentation, and operational support tasks.
  • Read and interpret plans, drawings, scopes of work, and field information to help support project alignment.
  • Coordinate and support company safety initiatives, training requirements, and safety documentation.
  • Help manage safety program compliance, certifications, onboarding requirements, and ongoing training records.
  • Lead and coordinate weekly toolbox talk meetings and help reinforce company safety expectations in the field.
  • Support jobsite safety observations, reporting, follow‑up items, and communication between crews and leadership.
  • Work closely with the Field Operations Director and Director of Business Operations to help keep projects organized, compliant, and moving forward.
  • Maintain accurate communication, documentation, and follow‑up across multiple active projects.
  • Support company systems, workflows, and operational processes both in the field and behind the scenes.
  • Conduct yourself professionally with field crews, customers, contractors, and vendors.
  • Bring a proactive mindset, strong communication skills, and a willingness to solve problems wherever needed.
What We’re Looking For
  • Prior commercial or industrial trade experience required.
  • Strong understanding of field operations, job site workflow, and construction environments.
  • Organized, detail‑oriented, and proactive with strong follow‑through.
  • Comfortable communicating with field crews, leadership, contractors, customers, and vendors.
  • Ability to balance field realities with operational processes and project coordination needs.
  • Strong problem‑solving skills and willingness to step in wherever needed.
  • Comfortable visiting job sites and supporting both field and office operations.
  • Experience with safety programs, toolbox talks, training coordination, or construction safety documentation is a plus.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
  • Someone who takes ownership, communicates clearly, and genuinely gives a damn about the work.
What You’ll Get
  • Competitive pay based on experience.
  • Health insurance, retirement benefits, paid time off, company holidays and more.
  • A role that blends field involvement with operations, coordination, and leadership support.
  • Opportunities to grow within project operations, safety coordination, and company leadership initiatives.
  • Hands‑on involvement in industrial and commercial projects across Arizona.
  • A team that values communication, accountability, craftsmanship, and problem solving.
  • Consistent, full‑time work with a company focused on long‑term growth and development.
  • The opportunity to help shape systems, improve operations, and support the next generation of field leadership.
