Job summary

Garney Construction is seeking a Craft Training Instructor to deliver hands-on training for Field Craft professionals. You will teach blueprint reading, tool usage, and construction techniques, while embedding safety across all programs.

Responsibilities include designing curricula with stakeholders, assessing trainee performance, and maintaining records of progress and certifications. A strong emphasis on inclusive learning and safety is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Advanced certifications preferred (NCCER Instructor, etc).
• 3+ years in pipefitting, carpentry, or related crafts at journeyman/tech level.

Responsibilities

• Deliver hands-on training using NCCER/in-house curricula.
• Teach technical skills and blueprint reading.
• Incorporate safety principles into all programs.
• Assess trainee performance and provide feedback.
• Maintain records of trainee progress and certifications.
• Coordinate with site management on training initiatives.
