Job summary

DPR Construction is seeking an Apprenticeships & Training Coordinator to support craft training, apprenticeship classes, and workforce development across the region. This role partners with instructors, workforce development teams, and field leaders to deliver efficient and effective programs.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, relationship-driven, and passionate about workforce development and employee growth within the construction industry.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 2–4 years of experience in training coordination or related fields preferred.
• Experience supporting construction, apprenticeship, workforce development, or safety training programs preferred.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate delivery of training programs, certifications, onboarding, workforce development initiatives, and apprenticeship activities across the region.
• Manage training schedules, registrations, communications, logistics, and resources to ensure successful program execution.
• Maintain accurate training records, certifications, compliance documentation, and participant data within learning management and workforce development systems.
• Track training participation, completion requirements, and workforce development metrics; generate reports and support audit and compliance activities as needed.
• Serve as a primary point of contact for employees, apprentices, instructors, and field leaders regarding training programs, schedules, and requirements.
• Partner with operations, workforce development, safety, HR, and field leadership teams to support workforce readiness, employee development, and organizational training goals.
• Support workforce outreach, apprenticeship recruitment, career pathway initiatives, and community engagement efforts.
• Assist with curriculum updates, training materials, program documentation, and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance training effectiveness and participant experience.
• Support the implementation and administration of new training technologies, systems, and workforce development programs.
• Ensure training environments, materials, equipment, and resources are prepared, organized, and aligned with company safety and operational standards.
