Michaels is seeking an energetic event coordinator for our Greenville store to plan and run in-store events, including children’s parties and classes. You will engage customers, assist with product selection, and ensure a fast, friendly checkout while delivering the Michaels Brand Promises.

You'll handle event logistics, coordinate with store teammates, and manage add-ons such as goody bags and balloons. Prior experience in retail or customer service is preferred, with a passion for creativity

Qualifications

• Experience working with children and children’s events.
• Good communication (written, verbal, nonverbal) and listening skills.
• Strong organizational and interpersonal abilities.
• Retail and/or customer service experience preferred.

Responsabilités

• Plan and coordinate events in-store, including children’s birthday parties and craft classes.
• Engage with guests of all ages to create a fun, creative environment.
• Demonstrate crafts, lead activities, and provide optional add-ons (balloons, goody bags).
• Assist customers, find products, and enable fast, friendly checkout.
• Handle emails, calls, and paperwork; adjust plans based on client feedback.
• Maintain store cleanliness and safety; follow SOPs and policies.
