Job summary

Michaels is seeking an energetic Events Coordinator to plan and run in-store events, including children’s birthday parties, at our Bellingham, MA location. You will engage customers, guide event activities, and ensure a fun, safe environment while maintaining store standards.

Responsibilities include coordinating logistics, assisting customers, and supporting omni-channel processes such as BOPIS and SFS. Prior experience in retail or customer service and strong people skills are required.

Qualifications

• Retail or customer service experience required.
• Experience working with children and children’s events is preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills required.
• Organizational and problem-solving abilities are essential.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate events including children’s birthday parties and craft classes.
• Assist customers in shopping and locating products; provide solutions.
• Handle checkout, stock tasks, and store recovery duties.
• Ensure safety, cleanliness, and adherence to SOPs and policies.
