Job summary

Michaels Findlay is seeking an energetic Event Coordinator to help plan and run in-store events, including children’s birthday parties, delivering a fun and engaging guest experience. You will assist customers, guide product selection, and ensure fast, friendly checkout while maintaining store standards.

The role also covers stocking, merchandising, and supporting store operations to uphold Michaels’ brand promises, with collaboration across teams and adherence to safety and cleanliness

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate events (including children’s parties) in-store.
• Assist customers, help locate products, and provide solutions.
• Lead checkout assistance and reinforce Rewards/Private Label Card enrollments.
• Support omni-channel processes like BOPIS and SFS.
• Maintain store cleanliness, stocking, and planogram adherence.
• Support safety programs and SOP compliance.
