Job summary

The Michaels Companies Inc. is seeking an events-oriented team member to coordinate in-store activities and create engaging experiences for customers in League City, TX.

You will help guests shop, guide them through activities, and ensure a smooth checkout while supporting store operations. You will plan and execute children’s parties and other gatherings, engage with guests of all ages, and uphold safety and cleanliness standards.

Qualifications

• Retail or customer service experience required.
• Excellent people skills.
• Experience working with children’s events preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate in-store events, including children’s parties and classes.
• Assist customers with product location and solutions and provide fast checkout.
• Help with stocking, planograms, and store recovery duties to support brand standards.
• Communicate event details to clients and store team, and adjust plans as needed.
