Job summary

Michaels in Tampa-Largo, FL is seeking a part-time Events Coordinator to plan and coordinate in-store events, including children’s birthday parties and crafts. You’ll engage guests of all ages, assist shoppers, and ensure a fun, stress-free experience while upholding store standards.

Responsibilities include coordinating multiple events, setting up and breaking down spaces, performing face painting and activities, and handling administrative tasks such as emails and calls.

Qualifications

• Must have experience working with children and coordinating events.
• Retail or customer service experience required.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Highly organized with attention to detail and support for store goals.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate events including kids' parties and crafts in-store.
• Assist customers, help them locate products, and provide friendly checkout.
• Set up and tear down events, maintain store cleanliness and safety.
• Communicate with clients and store team; manage admin tasks as needed.
• Adhere to SOPs and participate in cross-trained duties.
