Job summary

Levi Goode Brands in Houston, TX is seeking a Cold Prep Cook to prepare ingredients and components with consistency, care, and food-safety discipline for service in a polished, craft-driven kitchen.

You will follow recipes and prep lists, prepare cold components, wash and portion ingredients, maintain a clean workstation, and communicate shortages or quality concerns. Early mornings and weekends may be required.

Qualifications

• Professional kitchen or food preparation experience preferred.
• Ability to follow written recipes and verbal directions with accuracy.
• Strong knife skills and sanitation awareness required.

Responsibilities

• Follow recipes, prep lists, yields, portions, and production priorities.
• Prepare refined cold components, sauces, garnishes, and mise en place.
• Wash, cut, portion, mix, label, cool, store, and rotate ingredients safely.
• Set up and maintain a clean, organized workstation.
• Monitor product quality and communicate shortages or concerns.
• Use knives, scales, and commercial equipment safely; complete sanitation and closing tasks.
