Job summary

Levi Goode Brands seeks a Prep Cook - Garde Manger for Credence & Sidebar in Houston, TX. You will set up and stock the garde manger station, prepare cold dishes, salads, and garnishes with precise mise en place for fast, high-quality service.

You’ll read tickets, coordinate with the line and expo, monitor quality and safety, and maintain equipment and cleanliness. Applicants should have line-cook experience, knowledge of station organization, and a valid Food Handler Certification.

Qualifications

• Line-cook or comparable high-volume kitchen experience is preferred.
• Working knowledge of station organization, cooking technique, timing, and sanitation.
• Food Handler Certification

Responsibilities

• Set up, stock, and maintain the assigned station for efficient service.
• Execute composed cold dishes, salads, garnishes, and mise en place for garde manger.
• Prepare and cook menu items to recipe, portion, temperature, timing, and presentation standards.
• Read tickets and coordinate timing and communication with the line, expo, and service team.
• Monitor product quality, pars, rotation, waste, and food-safety controls.
• Use kitchen tools and commercial equipment safely and report maintenance concerns.
• Complete opening, cleaning, breakdown, labeling, and closing work thoroughly.
