Geronimo Hospitality Group is seeking a bartender for Merrill & Houston's Steak Joint in Beloit. You will take food and drink orders, craft cocktails, and provide excellent guest service in a vibrant steakhouse environment.

Requirements include 18+ years old, experience making classic cocktails, basic math, legible handwriting, and a valid Operator's License. One year of bartending experience is preferred; wine experience or certification is a plus. Equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• You are at least 18 years of age.
• Experience in making classic cocktails.
• Basic math skills (add, subtract, and make change).
• Legible handwriting with strong customer service and oral communication.
• Valid Operator's License is required.

Responsibilities

• Take customers’ food and drink orders.
• Ensure accuracy and timely delivery of orders.
• Suggest appetizers and meals based on menu and specials.
• Make and serve drinks following established guidelines and safety policies.
• Document orders clearly as they are placed and processed.
• Process payments and ensure accuracy of guest checks.
• Serve food and beverage with consistent quality.
• Comply with state and local liquor regulations.
• Respond promptly to guest requests.
• Maintain professional appearance and positive attitude.
• Maintain open communication with staff for a great dining experience.
• Create a memorable dining experience for all guests.
