Job summary

Puttshack, headquartered in Chicago, IL, is seeking friendly Bartenders to mix and serve beverages with a focus on guest experience in an upscale, tech-infused venue. This role supports a flexible, part-time schedule (15–30 hours weekly) with opportunities to earn via tips and benefits.

You will prepare drinks to recipes, handle barstock, follow safety and allergy protocols, and contribute to a team that delivers exceptional service in a vibrant environment.

Qualifications

• Must be 21+ years old to apply.
• Prior craft cocktail experience in a high-volume bar/restaurant.
• Strong emotional intelligence and self-awareness.
• Must obtain required licenses and certifications per state/local requirements.
• Ability to multitask calmly in a busy environment.
• Effective communication to perform and follow job requirements.

Responsibilities

• Bring your 'A' Game every day.
• Greet guests with a warm invite and sincere smile.
• Prepare and serve beverages according to recipes and instructions.
• Stock/restock bar areas with alcohol, glassware, ice, garnishes, and supplies.
• Follow steps of service for the full bar top, cocktail station and dining area.
• Anticipate guests' needs and provide attentive service.
• Understand and follow allergy procedures and restrictions.
• Safely transport food and beverages.
• Keep areas tidy and comply with safety guidelines.
• Direct barbacks and be a team player.
• Complete alcohol awareness training.
• Follow employment policies and store procedures.
• Assist with side-work, opening and closing duties as assigned.
