Job summary

Bohemia Manor Farm is a waterfront estate in Chesapeake City, Maryland, seeking a skilled bartender for Harvest & Tide to craft classic and craft cocktails, wine and beer, and provide attentive bar service.

The ideal candidate has strong beverage knowledge and a guest-first attitude, with flexible availability for evenings, weekends, and events. Responsibilities include taking orders, stocking the bar, and ensuring responsible service.

Qualifications

• Prior bartending experience in a full-service restaurant, resort, hotel, or bar.
• Strong knowledge of classic cocktails, spirits, wine, and beer.
• Must meet Maryland's minimum age requirement to serve alcohol; valid alcohol service certification (such as TIPS) required or must be obtained upon hire.
• Excellent multitasking, communication, and guest service skills.
• Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and special events.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive and professional demeanor.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including classic and craft cocktails, wine, and beer, in accordance with recipe and quality standards.
• Provide friendly, efficient, and professional bar service to guests of Harvest & Tide.
• Check guest identification and monitor alcohol consumption responsibly, ensuring compliance with all Maryland state and local alcohol service regulations.
• Take food and beverage orders from bar guests and coordinate closely with servers and kitchen staff.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and properly stocked bar area, including inventory management and garnish preparation.
• Process guest payments accurately and efficiently.
• Recommend wine, beer, and cocktail pairings using knowledge of the restaurant's beverage program and menu offerings.
• Support the setup and breakdown of bar service for private events, weddings, and special functions as needed.
• Uphold Vivamee's hospitality standards and all health, safety, sanitation, and responsible alcohol service guidelines.
