Qualifications

• Prior bartending experience in a full-service restaurant, resort, hotel, or bar.
• Strong knowledge of classic cocktails, spirits, wine, and beer.
• Must meet Maryland's minimum age requirement; valid alcohol service certification (TIPS) or ability to obtain on hire.
• Excellent multitasking, communication, and guest service skills.
• Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and special events.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including cocktails, wine, and beer.
• Provide friendly, efficient bar service to Harvest & Tide guests.
• Check IDs and monitor alcohol service in compliance with Maryland regulations.
• Take beverage orders and coordinate with servers and kitchen staff.
• Maintain a clean, stocked bar area and manage garnishes.
• Process guest payments accurately and efficiently.
• Recommend wine, beer, and cocktail pairings from the menu.
• Support setup/breakdown for private events and weddings as needed.
• Uphold hospitality standards and health/safety guidelines.

Position Overview

We\'re seeking a skilled, personable Bartender to craft exceptional cocktails and provide attentive, engaging bar service at Harvest & Tide. The ideal candidate brings strong classic and craft cocktail expertise, extensive wine and beer knowledge, and a genuine guest-first attitude to every shift, helping create memorable experiences that reflect Bohemia Manor Farm\'s commitment to exceptional hospitality.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including classic and craft cocktails, wine, and beer, in accordance with recipe and quality standards.


• Provide friendly, efficient, and professional bar service to guests of Harvest & Tide.


• Check guest identification and monitor alcohol consumption responsibly, ensuring compliance with all Maryland state and local alcohol service regulations.


• Take food and beverage orders from bar guests and coordinate closely with servers and kitchen staff.


• Maintain a clean, organized, and properly stocked bar area, including inventory management and garnish preparation.


• Process guest payments accurately and efficiently.


• Recommend wine, beer, and cocktail pairings using knowledge of the restaurant\'s beverage program and menu offerings.


• Support the setup and breakdown of bar service for private events, weddings, and special functions as needed.


• Uphold Vivamee\'s hospitality standards and all health, safety, sanitation, and responsible alcohol service guidelines.

• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive and professional demeanor.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout a shift.


• Ability to lift and carry up to 40 pounds, including cases, kegs, and ice bins.


• Ability to perform duties in a busy restaurant and event environment, including indoor and waterfront settings.


• Ability to bend, reach, stoop, and safely navigate a fast-paced workspace.
