Harpoon Beer Hall in Boston's Seaport is seeking an experienced General Manager to own and lead a flagship, multi‑dimensional operation including dining, brewery tours, private events, retail, and more—all in one roof.

You'll drive performance, supervise department heads, and cultivate a culture that energizes both guests and team members, delivering hospitality with heart and purpose.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of general management experience in a fast-paced hospitality setting.
• Experience with P&L ownership, labor scheduling, and cost control.
• Proven ability to develop people and lead with clarity and integrity.
• Skilled with hospitality systems such as Toast, Restaurant365 and Sling.
• Flexible to work nights, weekends, holidays, and key events.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all daily operations across FOH, BOH, events, retail, and tours to ensure smooth execution and memorable guest experiences
• Lead and develop a team of managers, building strong leadership at every level and driving accountability across departments
• Own the P&L—delivering on revenue, labor, and cost targets while maintaining service excellence
• Lead from the floor during peak service, modeling hospitality standards and team culture
• Champion operational tools and systems (Toast, Restaurant365, Sling) for scheduling, inventory, and reporting
• Ensure the facility, service, and staff presentation meet high standards of safety, cleanliness, and brand alignment
• Collaborate with marketing and events to activate programming and drive traffic
• Maintain structured internal communications and lead weekly manager meetings
