Job summary

HHM Hotels is seeking a Bartender to provide friendly, timely beverage and/or food service, aiming for high guest satisfaction. You will maintain bar areas, verify age, and manage drink orders with care.

This role offers growth into Beverage Manager and Restaurant Supervisor tracks; prior bartending/mixology experience is required or equivalent training. A Food Sanitation certificate within 90 days is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred.
• TIPS certified a plus.
• Previous bartending/mixologist experience required or equivalent training.
• Food Sanitation certificate a plus, required within 90 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain clean and organized bar areas.
• Slice and pit fruit for garnishing drinks.
• Check identification to verify age requirements for alcohol purchase.
• Prepare and serve drink and/or food orders.
• Take orders and serve/clear food and beverages in bar and lounge areas when applicable.
• Issue guest checks and complete payment process.
• Follow standards for identifying and managing intoxicated guests.
• Maintain beverage inventory and par levels as needed.
• Complete required side work prior to shift end.
• Aim to increase guest satisfaction scores and overall department performance.
• Follow sustainability guidelines under HHM's EarthView program.
• Follow MSDS and OSHA safety standards.
