Job summary

HHM Hotels is seeking a dependable Bartender to serve beverages and food, ensure guest satisfaction, and maintain a clean bar area. You will verify legal drinking age, make drinks, and handle payments with accuracy.

Candidates should have bartending or mixology experience, a high school diploma, and ideally a TIPS certification; a Food Sanitation certificate is required within 90 days. This on-site role offers growth into Beverage leadership within HHM

Qualifications

• Previous bartending or mixologist experience required or equivalent training.
• TIPs certification is a plus and preferred.
• Food sanitation certificate required within 90 days of employment.
• High school diploma preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain clean and organized bar areas.
• Slice and pit fruit for garnishing drinks.
• Check IDs to verify age for alcohol purchases.
• Prepare and serve drink and/or food orders.
• If applicable, take orders and serve/clear food and beverages at tables.
• Issue guest checks and complete payment process.
• Follow standards for identifying and managing intoxicated guests.
• Complete beverage requisitions to maintain par levels.
• Perform required side work prior to shift end.
• Be aware of guest satisfaction scores and work to improve them.
• Assist with beverage inventory and EarthView sustainability practices.
• Practice safe work habits and comply with MSDS/OSHA standards.
• Perform other duties as requested by management.
