Job summary

Sodexo is looking for a Baker to join our team at Northwest College. The role involves preparing baked goods from recipes and ensuring quality and presentation meet Sodexo standards. Shifts vary and weekends may be involved; full-time or part-time options are available.

You will bake breads, pastries, and other items, monitor ovens, and keep the bake shop organized and compliant with food safety and labeling requirements. Benefits are offered where applicable.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 0 to 1 year of related bakery experience.
• Experience in a bakery or pastry role is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare a variety of baked items from scratch according to recipes.
• Weigh ingredients, mix dough, shape, and bake to spec.
• Monitor oven temperatures and baking times.
• Maintain cleanliness, labeling, and stocking of the bake shop.
• Attend shifts on time and adapt to varying schedules.
