Job summary

SodexoMagic at STILLMAN COLLEGE is seeking a Baker to prepare baked goods per recipes and production specs. This full-time role involves varying shifts; open availability preferred to meet production needs and guest expectations.

Responsibilities include following production schedules, weighing ingredients, mixing dough, shaping, baking, and ensuring items are served at proper temperatures. Lifting up to 50 pounds and extended standing are required; benefits and growth opportunities available.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED or equivalent experience.
• 0–1 year of related work experience preferred.
• Experience in a specialized bakery or pastry role is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Check daily production schedules and follow recipes to prepare baked items from scratch (breads, rolls, muffins, biscuits, cakes, pastries).
• Weigh and measure ingredients, mix doughs, shape and cut dough, and bake items to specification.
• Regulate oven temperatures, monitor baking times, and ensure products are held and served at correct temperatures.
• Set up and stock bake shop, maintain storage, rotation, labeling and dating, and keep area clean.
• Attend work on time; other duties may be assigned depending on account requirements.
