Job summary

Sodexo is hiring a Baker at the Fulton campus location in ITAWAMBA COMMUNITY COLLEGE. The role prepares baked goods per recipes, follows Sodexo standards, and contributes to high-quality pastry offerings. Strong attention to detail and the ability to stand for long shifts are required.

Full-time position with varying shifts. Pay range is $13 to $15 per hour with comprehensive benefits and opportunities for training and advancement.

Qualifications

• High School diploma, GED or equivalent experience.
• 0 to 1 year of related work experience.
• Experience in a specialized bakery or pastry role preferred.

Responsibilities

• Check production schedules and bake breads, pastries, and cakes from scratch.
• Weigh ingredients, mix dough, and bake to exact specifications.
• Maintain oven temperatures and ensure correct temperatures for finished products.
• Set up, stock, label, and rotate the bake shop area for efficiency and cleanliness.
• Honor special requests and ensure high-quality baked goods are produced.
