AbbVie in Illinois is seeking a Clinical Research Monitor to advance the pipeline by partnering with investigators and site staff. The role focuses on site engagement, protocol adherence, data integrity and patient safety across clinical trials.

The candidate will monitor site performance, mentor junior CRAs, and ensure compliant trial execution while maintaining strong stakeholder relationships. A background in health sciences with regulatory knowledge is required.

Qualificações

• Appropriate tertiary qualification in health related disciplines (Medical, Scientific, Nursing) preferred.
• Minimum of 1 year clinically related experience, with 6 months in clinical research monitoring.
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements (ICH/GCP) and applicable policies.

Responsabilidades

• Primary point of contact for investigative site; connect stakeholders to sites and strengthen AbbVie positioning.
• Aligns and trains site staff and principal investigator on trial goals and patient treatment principles.
• Conducts site evaluation, training, monitoring with compliance to protocol and plans.
• Develops site engagement strategies and reports progress using CRM tools.
• Connects study protocol with clinical trial execution to enable recruitment and protocol compliance.
• Mentors CRAs and may participate in task forces; supports continuous risk assessment with Central Monitoring.
• Identify and evaluate new investigators/sites; report on engagement effectiveness.
• Ensure data quality and timely reporting of safety events; audit readiness at sites.
• Manage investigator payments per contract obligations.
