Job summary

BankUnited is seeking a Director of CRA Finance & Community Development to lead community development finance initiatives and advance CRA performance. You will oversee Community Development Officers, collaborate with cross-functional partners, and drive measurable outcomes in lending, investments, and services.

The role involves representing the Bank externally with nonprofit and public sector partners, managing the grant lifecycle, and coordinating reporting to senior leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred in a related field.
• 4-6 years experience with LIHTC, HUD and affordable housing preferred.
• Strong knowledge of Low Income Housing Tax Credits and Affordable Housing.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategy and execution for CRA qualified lending, investments, and services.
• Manage and develop Community Development Officers and oversee CRA outreach.
• Represent Bank with nonprofit, government, and community partners.
• Collaborate with CRA Officer, Chief Investment Office, Credit, and Lending to drive CRA outcomes.
• Oversee LIHTC and EQ2 investment portfolios and related settlements.
