Job summary

Johnston County Department of Social Services seeks a CQI/Trainer in the Staff Development Unit to improve service quality through data analysis, case reviews, and staff training while ensuring policy adherence.

The role focuses on monitoring performance, developing training sessions, and collaborating with multidisciplinary staff to strengthen outcomes for children and families served by the Child Services Division.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in social work is required.
• Bachelor's degree in social work or related field with relevant experience.
• Completion of Pre-Service Training: Child Welfare in North Carolina is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct qualitative reviews of screened out reports, assessments, in home services and foster care cases.
• Collect, organize and analyze data from cases to identify patterns and trends related to service delivery and policy adherence.
• Implement a plan for using sampling to review cases and ensure validity of data.
• Provide training and coaching to staff according to CQI process needs.
• Present data findings to agency staff, leadership or stakeholders.
• Assist in development and delivery of training to reduce error rates and improve program integrity.
• Collaborate with staff, stakeholders and external professionals across departments.
• M ake recommendations to the Supervisor to improve practice and revise division protocols.
• Monitor and report on efforts to improve performance in the Program Development Plan.
