The Dept of Family & Protectve Svc in Round Rock, TX is seeking a Conservatorship Supervisor I to oversee a unit of caseworkers and clerical staff, ensuring safety, permanency, and well‑being for children and families. You will work with judges, attorneys, and community partners to maintain up‑to‑date service plans and coordinate visits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university, plus 3 years of full-time CPS experience, OR substantial college credits with related experience.
• Experience in Child Protective Services and/or child placement services within a public social services agency is preferred.
• Ability to interpret policy and supervise staff in a complex regulatory environment.

Responsibilities

• Plans and manages unit operations to achieve service delivery goals and monitors caseloads.
• Selects, supervises, and develops staff through field visits and performance reviews.
• Interprets program policy to staff, clients, and stakeholders.
• Evaluates unit performance to ensure policy and service quality.
• Develops relationships with public, legal, medical, educational, and community resources.
• Makes casework decisions regarding removal and placement of children and coordinates with legal authorities.
• Attends work regularly and adheres to agency leave policies.
