Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in relevant field (Social Work, Criminal Justice, Psychology, etc.).
• Experience in social, human, or protective services is preferred.
• Employed in CPS roles with progression through CPS Specialist levels may apply.

Responsibilities

• Receive cases after removal from homes and oversee CPS conservatorship.
• Identify needs and refer to testing, evaluations, or services to achieve permanency.
• Collaborate with families, kinship resources, and legal parties for permanency outcomes.
• Conduct home studies of kinship providers and assist in placement decisions.
• Attend court hearings and prepare reports and testimony as needed.
• Travel to families' homes and court sites, including after-hours and on-call duties.
