Qualifications

• Requires a degree—Bachelor's or equivalent; relevant experience may supplement education.
• Experience in social, human, or protective services is considered relevant.
• Knowledge of trauma-informed care or interviewing/assessments with children and families is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Receive cases from investigators after removal and ensure children's needs are referred for testing, evaluations, and services.
• Determine each child's needs and focus services on achieving positive permanency.
• Plan for a child's permanency with families and kinship resources.
• Conduct home studies of kinship providers and potential placements.
• Meet with parents to assess risk and safety, guiding related services and progress.
