Job summary

Rock County in Wisconsin is seeking a professional level Social Worker/Case Manager for the CYF, CPS Ongoing Division. You will work on a multi-disciplinary team to ensure child safety, permanency, and support cross-training across CPS units.

You will engage families in goal-directed planning, assess safety, manage case loads, collaborate with service providers, and participate in court proceedings as needed. A strong foundation in social work principles and Wisconsin statutes is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Social Work or related field.
• Experience with developmentally disabled adults and children preferred.
• Knowledge of Wisconsin CPS and protective service standards is preferred.
• Bilingual skills are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare permanency and case plans.
• Evaluate and adjust safety plans to ensure child safety.
• Provide ongoing case management and coordinate services.
• Engage families in plan development and monitor progress.
• Collaborate with providers and document court-related activities.
• Provide court testimony and write court reports.
• Respond to CPS Access reports and participate in after-hours duties as needed.
• Attend meetings and support staff in CPS operations.
