Job summary

ALLCPR is seeking an American Red Cross Certified Instructor Trainer to lead First Aid/CPR/AED courses and train instructor candidates in schools, hospitals, offices and community centers.

Applicants must hold the ARC Instructor certification, with ARC Instructor Trainer certification preferred for trainer roles. BLS Instructor Trainer and AHA BLS certifications are also preferred. The role is a 1099 contractor or part-time contract with a flexible, weekend-friendly schedule.

Qualifications

• Current American Red Cross First Aid/CPR/AED Instructor certification.
• American Red Cross Instructor Trainer certification required for trainer roles.
• American Heart Association BLS Instructor Certification preferred.
• Bridging options may be considered where approved.

Responsibilities

• Prepare for American Red Cross First Aid/CPR/AED courses.
• Deliver instructor-level training sessions to individuals or groups.
• Demonstrate proper CPR/AED techniques per ARC requirements.
• Provide candidate feedback to improve performance.
• Monitor and evaluate candidate progress for proficiency.
• Submit course records per ARC requirements.
• Keep training materials up-to-date with program requirements.
• Engage in ongoing professional development in CPR/AED practices.
• Provide excellent customer service to clients and candidates.
