Job summary

Qualifications

• Required current CPR Instructor certification from a recognized organization (e.g., Red Cross or AHA).
• Valid CPR/AED and First Aid certification.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous teaching, training, or public speaking experience preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Must live in Colorado area.

Responsibilities

• Conduct CPR, AED, and First Aid training classes for individuals, businesses, and community groups.
• Demonstrate proper techniques and supervise hands-on practice sessions.
• Ensure all course content follows current guidelines and certification requirements.
• Evaluate participants’ skills and administer written and practical exams.
• Maintain accurate training records and certification documentation.
• Prepare and maintain training materials, equipment, and supplies.
• Adapt teaching methods to suit different learning styles and group sizes.
• Promote a safe and inclusive learning environment.
